Delinquent Accounts

Dancers with accounts 30-days past due will not be allowed to participate in dance classes until the account is brought up to date or other arrangements have been made with us. Please be advised that all accounts must be up to date before purchasing recital tickets. Students with outstanding accounts will not be allowed to perform on stage in our year-end recital, so please make every effort to ensure that your child will be able to perform. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your account, please do not hesitate to speak with us.

Costume Fees

There will be a $50 non-refundable costume fee for each dance performed at the end of the year recital.  Nearly all of our classes will perform at least two dances in the show, so many of you will be purchasing two costumes, others may have more. Costume fees are non-refundable. Costumes must be paid in full before any orders can be placed.  Please be sure to pay on time to ensure that you or your child receives a costume.  Additional costs may be added for any accessories, tights, shoes, and/or props.  Fundraising will be made available to help defray the cost of costumes. Please note that fundraising may only be applied toward the cost of costumes only (not accessories, tights, shoes, props etc). Participation in fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Details will be made available when the Fall session begins.

2009-2010 Costume payments must be paid in full by November 15, 2009.

Fundraising

We understand how costly your children's activities can be, which is why each year we offer fundraising to help defray the cost of costumes. Fundraising has been extremely successful in the past, especially for families with multiple children who dance. Participation in fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Please note that fundraising money may only be applied to the cost of costumes only-this does not include accessories, shoes, props. Fundraising details will be made available at the beginning of each Fall session.

Dress Code

Dancers should wear appropriate dance attire for classes. Dance attire should be form-fitting and neat (nothing baggy-no jeans, no skirts), as instructors need to see body posture. Appropriate shoes are required in order to participate in class. For details on shoe requirement by class type, please visit the “Classes Offered” webpage. Hair must be pulled back neatly off the face. Knee pads are suggested for hip-hop classes. For ballet, tights, leotard and a hair bun are required. A form-fitting wrap may also be worn.

Observation

To limit distraction and ensure that our dancers receive the quality education they deserve, spectators will not be permitted in the studios during class times. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Attendance

Attendance is very crucial for all dancers as an individual and as a group. Please arrive on time and prepared for each class. Please notify the instructor of any known absences or vacations. If you or your child will not be attending class, it is mandatory that you call the studio and notify the instructor prior to your class time. And remember...
